Introduction

This tour will take you to Sharjah, the "Pearl of the Gulf". One of the many landmarks to see during the tour is King Faisal Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Emirates.

You will visit the renovated Fort of Sharjah, former residence of the ruling family originally built in 1820, then continue to the Heritage Museum and proceed to wander through the adjacent souk "Al Arsa".

Before returning to your hotel, you have time to stroll and shop at souk "Al Markazi" a treasure trove of carpets, jewelry and handicrafts. Don't forget to pick up a unique souvenir of your trip to the Middle East while you are here!

Important Information:

Vehicles:
Buses used for excursions are of the highest standard available. All buses are air-conditioned and equipped with a microphone.

Dress Code:
The United Arab Emirates has conservative dress traditions. Men and women should ensure shoulders and knees are covered when in public, especially in souks, shops and villages. Male guests have to ensure that they are not wearing any jewellery such as earrings, bracelets, chains, necklaces and rings.

Photography:
Normal tourist photography is acceptable, but it is considered offensive to photograph Arab women. It is also courteous to ask permission before photographing men. Photographs of government buildings or military installations are not allowed.

Conditions:The tour operator reserves the right to cancel any part of this tour for reasons of government decisions, public holidays, weather conditions, or similar.
