Dubai & Phuket

from €1169 per person
Phuket is Thailand's largest island. As you would expect from an island destination there are a lot of activities based around the water. You can check out the marine wildlife with some diving, explore some of the smaller islands offshore such as Racha Island or just laze on the beach and top up your tan.

If you prefer to have your fun on terra firma then you can explore the thick rainforests, grab a refreshing cocktail at a beachside bar or visit some of the local villages and towns.

Dubai is home to some of the world's most stunning buildings, opulent hotels and fantastic shopping.

You can feel on top of the world and experience unrivaled views with a visit to Burj Khalifa, the tallest man-made structure in the world.

Or if you fancy some fun and adventure then test your mettle and skills at Ski Dubai, the first indoor ski resort in the Middle East, where you can roll down the slopes in the Giant Ball run, snowboard and ski.

Staff Comment
Tracey Crowley The Seview Patong is located at the quiet end of Patong beach, but still with good walking distance to the market area and bangla road. There are plenty of tuk tuks and taxi's in front of the hotel to take you anywhere you wish.

  • Catch an abra across the river to the spice souks (I would recommend you do this at 4pm or 5pm, as the sun is easing down).
  • Out of respect for the locals, dress modestly and refrain from public displays of affection. But Dubai is a very safe city, so explore independently on the buses and trains, and take taxis, which are cheap.

  • There are so many hotels in Phuket there is no lack of choice. Most important is to chose your location, if you want all everything available at anytime, go to Patong but get ready for some crowd. If you like it quiet and romatic: Mai Khao Beach.
  • The panorama from the 'Radar Hill' is simply breathtaking. Once you are up there, you will barely see anyone but locals.
