Dominican Republic Summer 2017

from €1329 per person
The Caribbean jewel of the Dominican Republic is blessed with idyllic beaches, lush inland mountains, a rich history and inviting locals and is a great location for a couples holiday.

If you fancy a vacation built around golden sand beaches, swaying palms and inviting water then this is the place for you with Bavaro Beach and Macao Beach being just two of the many places to chill out and relax.

But if you want something a bit more active then there are lots of options too. You can try some horseback riding at the Rancho Paraiso in Cabrera, explore the reefs along Sosua with Northern Coast Diving or hike in the Parc National Los Haitises nature reserve.

  • In the Dominican Republic, electric plugs are 110 volts, like those in the United States and Canada. Because of this, Europeans and visitors from some countries in South America will have to bring a power adapter.
  • As the tap water has not been purified. It is recommended that you always drink bottled water.
