Bangkok & Phuket

from €1459 per person
If you are looking to take a trip with your significant other that offers relaxation mixed with fun and adventure then this double-destination vacation in Thailand is well suited to your needs.

Start off in the capital city of Bangkok where the only limitation on things to do is your imagination. A great way to see some of this immense city and travel around is with a boat ride on the Chao Phraya River then take a relaxing stroll through the Bangkok Art & Culture Centre.

From Bangkok head to Phuket, the county's largest island. As you would expect from an island destination there are a lot of activities based around the water. You can check out the marine wildlife with some diving, explore some of the smaller islands offshore such as Racha Island or just laze on the beach and top up your tan.

If you prefer to have your fun on terra firma then you can explore the thick rainforests, grab a refreshing cocktail at a beachside bar or visit some of the local villages and towns.

  • Without a doubt, a visit to see the magnificent reclining Buddha is one of the top things to do in Bangkok. This enormous gold Buddha is 46 metres long and 15 metres high. The statue is located in Wat Pho, or 'Temple of the Reclining Buddha', Thailand's biggest temple.
  • The coolest and supposedly best months to travel are December to March.
  • Don't take it lightly: sun in Phuket, even on a cloudy day is very strong. Do yourself a favor and don't ruin your chances of a nice smooth suntan on your arrival day by over exposing yourself without sunscreen.
