Before You Book

Use both the wedding supplement and the Travelmood brochure to choose your destination, resort and hotel where you would like to marry. Check the number of days you are legally required to stay in the country beforehand and any other legal requirements. You may also want to consider any discounts or FREE weddings that are available and our wedding co-ordinators can advise you on these.

The Booking

Call our wedding experts on 01 4331040 to check the availability of your chosen hotel. It is important that you book your wedding as far in advance as possible so that you are not disappointed. Bookings will need to be made 16 weeks in advance. A €100 wedding booking deposit will be required at the tine of booking. This fee is in addition to the normal holiday deposit.

After Booking

As soon as possible ensure that you have all the relevant documentation you will need for your overseas wedding. If any documents are missing you will need to apply to the appropriate authority for a new copy

• 4 months prior to departure - You must contact Foreign Affairs Office Tel: 01-4780822 Ext 2568
• 3 months prior to departure - Check that all documentation has been received by us for the processing of your wedding licence. If you havent arranged already through us, you will need to advise us if you have any additional guests attending the wedding. If they are not staying at your hotel, day passes will need to be organised which will be payable locally.
• 1 month prior to departure - Check that you have all your original documentation to take with you to resort. Ensure that you have suitable luggage carriers for your wedding attire.

After Ceremony

Check that all details on your marriage certificate are correct
