Introduction
'The Valley Island' of Maui is the home of Haleakala, the world’s largest dormant volcano crater dubbed the 'house of the sun', although some visitors may be surprised by the distinct lunar landscape which awaits!

Humpbacks visit Maui during their migration to Alaskan waters from December to April, and Lahaina, once a whaling town, now attracts tourists to its historically preserved waterfront. Sea turtles are also drawn to Maui, no doubt by her pristine waters and deserted beaches where the turtles lay their eggs. For spectacular scenery take the 'road to Hana', a small town with gorgeous beaches, or if you really must, avoid the sand at one of Maui’s many first class golf courses.
